An experiment in eye contact
What if your reflectionstopped copying you?
Uses your camera. No microphone.Your camera image stays on this device.
Preparing the mirror…
A real vision model locates your eyes, mouth and facial movements on this device. The mirror uses those landmarks to change timing, hold open-eye imagery over a blink, and gently alter your expression.
The local face model starts when you open the mirror.
The behavior is programmed. It does not read thoughts, identify you, or represent an autonomous mind.
Camera frames and recordings are not uploaded. The face model and its runtime are served with the site. The camera requests no audio. “Close mirror” stops the camera; recordings are created only when you choose “Record & replay”.
The sample uses an attributed public demo portrait, not a live camera. It lets you preview the visual effect without allowing camera access.
